The e-mail tools on ie (send link, page, read mail, new message) does not work using hotmail as default e-mail application with an "(e-mail address removed)" account.

Hi Alfonso,

Send Page by and the Send Link by email options generate Simple MAPI calls, which means the respective mail client must define a DLL for this purpose, and Hotmail does it. Try this command from RUN box:

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\HMMAPI.DLL"

Thank you Ramesh, but I made your recommendation and tried to send a link using Hotmail as default mail application, Windows ask me for my .Net Passport login information, I wrote it and then I see a blank page without any text. If I try with an (e-mail address removed) account I can do it, but with @msn.com doesn't work. Thnx again!

I don't think this is a default mail-client issue, but a browser issue or a server problem.
