IE 6.0 History

My system has stopped recording and showing history. My
history limit is set to one day and I have the option to
clear temporary internet files upon closing the browser
set to true.

Even when I'm browsing, not will show in the history
pane. Anyone know what might be causing this?

I did the following and it resolved it:

0. logon as Administrator
1. In your documents & settings directory find your userid and then the
local settings directory
2. find the history subdirectory
3. go to the history.ie5 directory
4. delete the MSH* files

then

1. if you have McAfee turn of Active-X filtering

A reboot was then needed for me and everything is now back the way I want
with the exception that I am now exposed to unsafe Active-X (is that
redundant)....
