I suggest a new buisness strategy.

My new business strategy for Microsoft is to go completely open source.
Because most of the software developers will stop developing for Microsoft by
2008 I think that this would be a very good idea. You could let the Open
Source community develop your operating system and worry about making quality
software and making sure you had plenty of hardware support. You would notice
an increase in profit because no one likes Vista. Everyone is either sticking
with XP, moving to Mac, or Moving to Linux. I know you can spend 7 years
waiting for things to go in your favor but why not start fresh now.

You're drunk or on drugs or both right?

You could let the Open

Let the open sores community (that one guy in his garage in germany?)
develop what...something that nothing of value would run on?

You would notice an increase in profit because no one likes Vista.

hehehe...now we all know you're drunk, on drugs and mentally deranged...lol

You're still living in your moms basement and stealing her hard earned
money from her purse when she's asleep, huh?
You should be ashamed of your putrid little arsed self.
Also isn't it your bedtime you little linux loser troll.

What? Says who? Guess you haven't talked with the folks who are using Vista
and loving it. Or even just liking it.

That's not to say there's anything wrong with sticking with XP or moving to
Mac or moving to Linux. Not at all... but "everyone?" Ah... no?

I just love reading folk like you who talk for the world. You go do your
thing and let us folk do what we want without your rants.

Your typical retort. Gawd, sad how you lack the ability to challenge
anything you disagree with in a logical and thoughtful way. Is that the way
you run your marketing business Frank? When a client disagrees with you, do
you try to logically defend your position, or do you just call him a drunk?
You could let the Open

Let the open sores community (that one guy in his garage in germany?)

Is that the guy that developed the newsreader client you're running now?
Tell us what it's like to run "open sores" software Frank, since you're
doing so now. Why aren't you using Vista Mail?
You would notice an increase in profit because no one likes Vista.

Talk about mentally deranged! I guess you piss in your coffee in the morning
before drinking it, just because you hate coffee.

Clean up your act Frank. Drop Mozilla now! Then come back here and preach
your bullshit. At least, you'll have a wee bit more credibility.

HA - Developers will stop developing for Microsoft in 2008? Are you off
your NUT? My suggestion is to keep your day job, continue to work the
fryer, change the peanut oil every 7-8 hours, learn how many fries it takes
to fill the small, medium, and Super Size bags. Eventually you might be
promoted to flipping the burgers.

Hmm... so as a developer, you think I should abandon my entire codebase?
And you think I should throw away Visual Studio and its great debugger
etc. and use some really poor replacement?
And you think I should quadruple my support costs by having all of my
customers running slightly different versions of the core of Windows?

No thanks!

An Open Source OS is great for experimenting with (and I do so myself),
and great for computers with a single purpose (routers, web servers,
etc), but I wouldn't want to support a commercial application on one.

I don't have open sores? Also there are 35,000,000 developers for Linux.

The money made from open source Linux distributions like LInspire CNR Gold
and other CNR related software is very very high.

Actually I'm independent and have my own business. The name of my business
is Computer Rescue look it up. 75% of my customers have made the switch to
Linux. The other 25% are convinced they can't switch because their boss at
work says that there is nothing besides Microsoft Office that will do what
they need to do. Such foolishness costs them more than they make working for
their boss. Meanwhile I make $75.00 off each of these customers that use
windows at a minimum of every 12 months when I come back to reretister their
antivirus for them and set it to clean up and defrag before I leave. Linux
has no need to defrag because it does not get fragmented. Linux is an
organized system.

Like I said 75% of my customers have switched to Linux after I fixed their
computers. I get letters in the mail with extra money thanking me. I call
back to make sure everything is ok and usually they call me back once to ask
me a question about Linux and after it is answered they are on their way.

Actually I'm not because software developers have already moved away from
Microsoft. 12% have moved from Microsoft to Linux from 2007 to now and by
2008 it is predicted it will be 63%. Once it reaches over 50% it will be an
exponential, irreversible shift of power.
