i am trying to install 2002 microsoft powerpoint and this thing keeps on
poping out
"error 1608 set up was unable to locate a qualifying product" im not really
good at computers i dont know what that means.

Check the box the product came in or the label on the CD. It probably says
"Update" or "Upgrade". That means that you must already have a licensed copy of
a previous version installed on your system or the installation CD for that
version must be in the CD drive. Did you intentionally purchase an upgrade to
PowerPoint 2002 or Office XP?
