I have been down every road. all of my mail settings are
correct. my password is correct. everything is working
fine, I even re-installed the factory defaults and still
I cant send email. I can recieve it fine. This is one of
the errors I get.

The connection to the server has failed.
Account: 'mail.comcast.net', Server: 'smtp.comcast.net',
Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10060, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

I dont know where to go from here. I have paid techs over
the web and they did some tests in dos but nobody can
help not my isp or anyone. Please help me someone. - Nima

Can you receive incoming mail? Have you installed SP2? What Firewall is
installed? Have you set your anti-virus to scan outgoing mail?

Hope this helps.

This is also a possibility, (There are a few).

Go to Tools>Accounts>Mail>Properties>Servers Tab. Under *Outgoing mail
server*, check the box for My server requires authentication. Next,
click the Settings button and insert your user name, {everything before
the @ in your address} and enter the password.
