Disable email scanning of outgoing and incoming mail. It provides no
additional protection (and even Symantec says it's not needed:

I have been receiving similar error messages and i know based on conversation with my isp network administrator that comcast.net has nothing to do with our network. i suspect we picked something up (quick where is the antidote? :)) unfortunately, the problem is buried within my pc since it no longer matter which email package i use to send mail.
