http links don't work

If I click on a link in a browser such as IE or Firefox the links work.
But in almost everything else, such as Open Office Org I get messages like
---------------------------
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=5660494686870523359&hl=en-CA
---------------------------
This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel.
---------------------------
OK
---------------------------
Or nothing happens.
The error message seemed like it had a good clue. But I couldn't find
what to change there.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Chas

Fix the associations for URL, HTTP, and HTA.

I am having a problems also with opening a link in an email. It just doesn't
do anything. If I can't see the information and it says to "click here" it
goes to my home page. It will also default me to "work offline" and I will
have to go uncheck it. Please help.

Fight exposing kids to porn, complain about sites like PCBUTTS 1.COM
that create filth and put it on the web for any kid to see: Just take a
look at some of the FILTH he's created and put on his website:
http://forums.speedguide.net/archive/index.php/t-223485.html all exposed
to children (the link I've include does not directly display his filth).
You can find the same information by googling for 'PCBUTTS1' and
'exposed to kids'.

The visit the site filled with filth and porno and support his desire to
create it while tricking you into visiting his site like he's some kind
of helper.

I another porno company would post here saying come to our porn site and
download a fix for your computer - would you?
