One of my clients has a curious problem: When he
receives an EMail with an embedded link, e.g.
www.google.com then he expects to be able to
click that link and thus launch his default browser.
In his case this does not happen: Windows pops
up a dialog box that asks him what program to
use to open www.google.com. It is as if the
association between such links and iexplore.exe
was broken.
Installing Firefox and making it the default browser
failed to resolve the problem.
Any suggestion as to where the ability to interpret
such links is set?
