How-To display Company Name in SMTP From field

I was wondering if there is anyway in Exchange Server 2003, to display the
company name in a user’s From field when they send an email outside the
Exchange Organization?

For example, say Jane Doe is an employee of ACME, Co. Is there a way to make
her SMTP From address field show,

Jane Doe (AMCE, Co.)

when she sends an email?

Right now when my Exchange Server 2003 sends an email outside our
Organization, it is just displaying the users First and Last name. I have
already gone into Active Directory and updated the display name to include
our company for all of our users. However, only users within our Exchange
environment see the change (ie. Jane Doe (AMCE, Co.)). When users within our
Exchange environment send an email to GMail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or whatever
email service, the From field is still just showing their first and last name
(ie. Jane Doe).

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

Put that in the person's Active Directory object as the display name.
