Display SMTP address instead of Display Name

This is a little bit of a screwy question, so bear with me:

We use a Listserv to distribute discussion threads and messages to users
both inside and outside our company.

If an external user sends an email to the list, and it gets distributed to
internal users, the "From:" field will say something like:
TESTLIST [[email protected]] on behalf of External Sender
[[email protected]].

This is good, and is what we want it to look like.

However, if one of the Outlook users who RECEIVES that message then attempts
to forward the message, they lose the SMTP address of the external sender.
The "From:" field in the forwarded part of the message looks like this:
TESTLIST [[email protected]] on behalf of External Sender.

So the person who receives the forwarded message can't reply to the ORIGINAL
sender (External Sender) because they have no idea what the SMTP address is
for that person.

This only seems to be happening in Outlook. It works correctly when the same
thing is attempted in Entourage, in a variety of webmail clients, and even on
a smartphone, so I am assuming it to be a configuration in Outlook.

How can I retain the SMTP address for the original external sender when
forwarding?

Thanks for any help you can offer!

I should also add that the behavior is the same when you "Reply" or "Reply
All" to the messages in Outlook.
I realize we could tell the user to use "Forward as an attachment", but that
doesn't help with the replies, and is kind of a lame workaround. People won't
like that answer.
