How can I get my display name in the From field?

When someone opens in Outlook an email message I have sent them, it only
shows my email address (i.e. (e-mail address removed)) in the From field rather than my
name plus email address (i.e. Jane Doe <[email protected]>). I have checked my
account information and it shows my name listed correctly, and my name (i.e.
Jane Doe) shows up as From in Outlook's inbox. Does anyone know if there is
a way to correct that? I am currently using Outlook 2003. Thanks!

how it's displayed is usually controlled by the recipients client - so as
long as the display name is filled in on your end, you can't control how
other clients use the information.

if you send yourself mail, does show your name?
