hotfix Q308402

I have a problem in accessing the recovery console as it
will not accept the proper Administrator password. It
would seem that I need to apply a hotfix, Q308402 but seem
unable to obtain this from MS or DELL. Quite the run
around that one gets on these sites. Could anyone send me
this fix, or tell me how to fix this problem.
This is all in aid of removing the famous spyware
VX2:BetterInternet.

You need to call Microsoft to get hotfixes - there should be no charge for
the call if you tell the operator theKB article number and ask only for the
hotfix.
