when i open outlook i get two similar messages: the
first is "C:\progra~1
hotbar\bin\450~1.0\sbolext.dll could not be installed or
loaded." it then directs me to the repair wizard which
doesn't correct the problem. any ideas?

You should be able to remove the connection to this add-in by going to
Tools-> Options-> tab Other-> button Advanced Settings...-> button COM
Add-ins/Add-In Manager

Hotbar is spyware and you should remove it from your machine.

Sounds like he already did and is now left with a broken dll reference ;-)

I had the same problem. I cleaned HOTBAR off my system and was getting the
window telling me such a dll didn't load when I opened Outlook. I went to
TOOLS >OPTIONS>OTHER>ADVANCED SETTINGS>ADDINS/ADDINS MANAGER then uncheck
the ones that don't belong there. Mine were Spam Blocker for MS Outlook and
Redemption helper Outlook extension. Works just fine now.
