Home page in IE

I have a new computer. When I go into IE I get the Dell/Google home page.
I've triled to change it to the home page I want, but when I use Internet
options to do it, the home page doesn't change. I've also tried going to my
home page using the address bar and then clicking Tools/Internet options/Use
current, but that doesn't work either. The page goes right back to the Dell
page. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Also, the default page shows the same url. What if I deleted the start
entry? Would that do it?

See your previous thread for answers. If you can't find it, use Google
Groups Advanced Search and search for your name, constrain the time
period, etc.

ChiggerSpecies--I have the same problem, but with an IBM ThinkPad. When you
say "edit the URL", do you mean another "hard" entry? Is it possible to
delete this so that the Tools/InternetOptions/address function actually does
what it should?
