I just reformatted my desk top. I can't seem to make My Yahoo my home page.
I have tried the tools, internet options, use current (I have my yahoo on at
the time), apply and ok. If I go to another page or get off the internet
when click home or I log back on it goes to MSN. How can I get it to accept
the My Yahoo as home page?

I Just realized that my brother-in-law got on line before I had finished
setting up my computer and he made MSN the home page and established a hot
mail address. I still can't get MY Yahoo as my home page. How do I delete
his MSN home page off?

Set internet options to yahoo as home page, then delete all off line
files,delete
cookies,close out.Go to run,type:%Temp% In temp,edit,select all,delete all,
close out,empty recycle bin,restart computer..

Thanks for your input. I tried what you suggested but the computer says,
"can't fine 96temp96, be sure you typed it correctly". I'm sure I typed it
as you said. I tried it several times. Any other way to get to this file?
Thanks again.

Hi, Thanks for the info but I tried it and was succesful at the attempt but
it didn't solve my problem. I still can't get MSN off as my home page no
matter what I do. I have even tried to delete my brother-in-laws hot mail
account. Any more suggestions? I would appreciate any thing you may
suggest. Thanks.

There's a registry entry which blocks changes to the home page. You can
use Hijack This to set, then lock the home page you prefer. A Google
Groups search on the subject will show what registry entry to change:

"Unable to set homepage"
