I am having an unusual problem with a home network i have setup.
I have 1 PC running Win98SE and the other PC running WinXP Pro. Both connect
into a 4port HUB, using CAT4 or 5 cable.
Both are set to "WORKGROUP" etc and i can access Win98's Shared
files/folders from the WinXP PC, But i cant access the WinXP's folders from
the Win98 PC.
I can play Network games against the 2 computers but only if the Win98 PC
creates the game. I have installed the WinXP network stuff onto the Win98
machine as well.
I was told the XP Firewall could be causing this. If so how do i turn it
off? and are there any other things i need to do/change.
Thanks in advance.
