Hidden Folder

I have XP Home Edition with SP2

Apparently I have an two Adware files called Dc96 and Dc95.exe that are
causing problems. Norton Antivirus discovered the files but cannot remove
them. Neither can Pest Patrol. The files reside in the folder
C:\RECYCELERS but I cannot see that folder. I've tried DOS and it can't
find it. I've tried Windows Explorer and it can't find it either. I've
"checked" the "Show Hidden Files and Folders" option and still the folder
does not show.

Anybody know how I can view this folder?

You don't need to view it, you need to empty the Recycle Bin.

Dc96 and Dc95.exe are deleted files from your C drive. Hence the
D(eleted)C(drive)96. This was the 96th deleted file on your C drive.

To display Hidden files and folders

Start | Settings | Control Panel | Folder Options | View tab
Check:
Display the contents of system folders
Show hidden files and folders
UNCheck:
Hide protected operating system files
Apply | OK

[[Hidden files and folders will appear dimmed to indicate they are not
typical items.]]
