Help with starting

When i start windows xp the first black screen that comes
up it says CPU is unworkable or has been changed. Please
recheck-CPU Soft Menu what do i do?

This is a message from your BIOS. Apparently there is something wrong
with your processor. If you are not skilled in working with hardware,
take the machine to a good local repair shop (not a BestBuy or CompUSA
type of store) and have them fix it.

Hi Zak,

Been overclocking? That error indicates that either the cpu is toast, or the
cmos settings for it are incorrect. Did you change the battery lately? If
you previously had custom settings, you may be back to defaults and will
have to change them back to what they were (hope you wrote it down).
