Help with difficult uninstall

David Richardson

I wish to trial sygate firewall. In order to do this I have to uninstall
Outpost only it won't! I use Add-Remove Master and the uninstall program
refuses to initiate. I tried Add/Remove in Control Panel and the same thing
- it doesn't work. I tried to initiate the uninstall from the start folder
- guess what? Same again! I then tried to install the program again but it
keeps recognising the original installation and requiring it to be
uninstalled and the computer rebooted first. Any suggestions? I am using
WinXP and would rather not use system restore as it will mean the
reintallation of countless programs. Any Freeware that can assist or advice
on an alternative proceedure?
Thanks

Use the registereditor, I do when I have problem like yours. Seach for
anything that has someting to do with outpost and delete it. After just
delete the folder too, and be sure to delete the uninstall section in the
register.
