HELP - My browser only allows pictures to be saved in .bmp format

Something unexplained has happened to my PC. As of yesterday, if I right
click on a picture that I want to save on a web page, the only format
available to me in the 'save as' window is bmp. Prior to this, I could choose
gif, jpg, ect, ect. I've run virus software and nothing. I can't figure it
out. Even if the picture I want to save is in jpg format, it will only let me
save it as a bmp. HELP!!

The usual fix is to clear your cache.
IE-Tools-Internet Options-Delete Files (in the TIF section)

That seems to work about 98% of the time but if it doesn't, close IE
and reopen and do it again. Also it has been reported that clear
cookies helps, but ensure you save any that you need.
