Whenever visitors type a comment in my guest book field,
the info goes to my e-mail, but it does not show addiction
on the guest book page.

Most visitors are understandably reluctant to divulge this
information. They get hounded by cops, drug dealers,
social workers, ...

On a more somber note, make sure none of your form
elements have names that contain spaces or special
characters. Also, make sure that none of them have names
that are SQL reserved words, such as "date" or "timestamp".

By default the guestbook does not send emails
Sounds like you created a form instead of a guestbook
Try File New Page and select the Guestbook template
