Not that this top posting Wintard is an MVP and the best he can come up
with is "snort".

I have an HD service and view HD programming on my HD TV. I am impressed.
It's great. The reason you are probably not impressed is because it's hard
to view HD on a 17" TV 20 years old. Just doesn't work!

I watched it on about 30 wide screen, brand new TVs. Not impressed, sorry.

When you, and others, refer to Linsux - yes, that is the only response that
the post is really worth.

I do and others do too. I am here to spread the word about an OS that
doesn't control you. I won't find anyone who hasn't heard about Ubuntu on
the Ubuntu news group. Am I getting too logical for you?

So, when a newbie finds out about activation, genuinizing, DRM, BSOD, etc.
I am here to helpfully guide them to a real OS.

Which is entire Off Topic for this peer to peer support newsgroup.
If your purpose is not to provide help and assistance ON Windows Vista
(which by your admission it is not as your mission is to redirect them to
another product) then you should not be participating in this newsgroup.
Users make their own purchasing decisions and when they have a problem with
that product they want help on it not others telling that they should have
bought this or that.
By all means go advertise your product in other advocacy newsgroups or none
product specific newsgroups etc but you should not be posting adverts for
other products here. Either help with the product this group is focused on
or refrain from posting.

Think of this as akin to a Ford dealer sitting in the service area of the
local Dodge dealer and telling anyone who walks in to ask a question about
their car or has a problem with it, that they should go down the road to
your dealership and products. Frankly you would be taken out the back by a
couple of pipe wrench wielding mechanics and shown the error of your ways;
where as in here all we can do is politely ask you to refrain from your none
productive actions.

If you used Vista you may be able to see youtube videos in Vista.

You are using Linsux.

Usenet posting monitor? Nowhere is it written that Mr. I'll-post-what-I-want
gets to tell anyone else how to post. ;-)

When Bozos don't post according to long established Usenet convention
they look pretty dumb. You choice of course. ;-)

We are talking to the wind it seems. All Alias wants to do is preach Ubuntu
to the masses. Hopefully most can see that Ubuntu is a toy and not worthy
of anything else but a glance.

You see how I post. If you don't like the Microsoft default, go away. I will
not change and I **like** top posting.

That's because you're a Bozo Richie.
I know what I am responding to. Why should others have to read through the
same previous verbiage two, three or twenty times to get to my response?

Nobody does you clueless idiot.

Here's a thought.... look over at the far right end of the window
you're reading this in. See that little square sitting on top of a
long vertical bar? It's called the Scroll Bar. Select the little
square, hold it down and drag it down to the bottom of page. Oh my
God! It takes a whole second or two to get to the bottom of the post.
Imagine that!

Hint: The English language is designed to be read left to right and
top to bottom. Why do clueless Microsoft fanboys insist on being
idiots and demand people read whatever crap they posted BEFORE reading
what you are replying to?

Damn, dumb doesn't come close to describing arrogant top posters that
always think just what THEY say is important and deserves to be at the
top.

Why is bottom posting the correct way? Because you never know when
somebody is NEW to the thread. They don't want to ready what some jerk
posted at the top before they read in CRONGICAL order what others have
said, including the original post.

Understand yet?

Of course you don't. That's why you're a Bozo.

Yes and no. A lot of self-help newsgroups are mostly Q&A, not
conversational. People come here to find an answer to the problem named in
the topic title, so finding info first is what they want. All these long
heated debates are useless to anyone needing a quick fix to, say, making
another mail client the 'mailto' default. When everything works fine
'except' then they don't care about whatever else was said, they want to
find what they need fast. The only people that really take time to read the
rest of this junk are the idiots that live here. ;-)

Who cares.
Personally I don't want to wade thru all the crap to get to the bottom. So I
top post.

No.. what he means is that he was watching 30 TV's in El Corte Ingles..

Actually, it was another store but you've got the right idea.
He learned Vista that way too, looking at the computers on display..

No, playing with it for a couple of hours. I have also researched it
online and read about all the problems right here on this ng.

Please stop before I pis* myself!

You really think I may change to make the Linsux crowd happy. Not a chance.

No, nobody expects clueless fanboys to ever change. Duh... that's why
you earned the label fanboy. You blindly support Microsoft no matter
what.
