I am having problems with graphics being displayed in IE

with a red x...any suggestions?

Go to Tools>Internet Options>Advanced. Go down to
Multimedia. Un-check Show Image Download Placeholders
and check Show pictures. That should do it.

i think theres another setting somewhere causing this, at
least for me. A few webpages had images that would load
on my laptop but not my pc, today after formatting my
laptop the same thing is happening. "Show image
placeholders" isnt checked now, and wasnt before, but
same problem: :(

I am having the exact same problem. I use SBC Yahoo
Browser that is a skin over IE 6.You can get the images to
open by clicking on View->Encoding->Western European or
auto select. I found this by accidentin a fit of
desparation. I don't know what it means or how to fix it,
but is really annoying to have to do this for every page.
Please let me know if you find a solution, and I will do
the same for you.
