Going into Standby when it shouldn't

I have a PC that is going into Standby even when all of it's power option
have been set to never and "Always On". Hibernation is also disabled. The
monitor shuts off but as soon as I wiggle the mouse it comes back on. The
unit is not on the internet, and is not part of a domain. I am completely
perplexed. Can anyone help?

Entirely conceivable. Can you check with your video driver card manufacturer
and/monitor manufacturer?
