Getting Pop up Window in Windows Mail

I also have Vista. When I first go into Windows Mail, anytime I hit the
send/rec button, or want to send a message I get this pop up box that says:

Dial Up Connection

Selet the service you want to connet to:
Blank info
Connect button Settings button Cancel button

I have Bellsouth DSL and they swear that I am set up correctly. They say to
call the mfg of my computer (Toshiba). This all WAS working correctly.

I also have outgoing mail sitting in the outbox. Will have to read all of
the discussions on how to cure that!

Appreciate you help!

I think I've read that Toshiba computers often come with a program
whose name includes SMS installed that causes various problems,
and it has to be uninstalled to stop causing the problems.

In Internet Explorer, click on Tools, then Internet Options, then
Connections, then Never dial a connection, then Apply, then OK.

In Windows Mail, click on Tools, then Options, then Connection.
If there's no check mark in the box before Ask before switching
dial-up connections, click on this box and then Apply. If there's
a check mark in the box before Hang up after sending and receiving,
click on this box and then Apply. Click on OK.
