Genuine Windows

A merssage comes up telling me I do not have a genuine windows package. I do,
and its been fine for years. It is also asking me to download software that
will confirm whether it is genuine but it isn't a recognisable Microsoft
symbol. Does anyone know about this? My PC is running really slow since this
has started happening.

You've got a virus or malware. Run your anti virus in safe mode along
with your anti malware applications.

I recommend you post to the WGA forum for XP.
