This most often happens when I'm playing World of Warcraft, but happens when I'm just sitting around surfing too.

Small grey box- title- "Generic Host Process for Win32 Services"

Info:
Generic Host Process for Win32 Services has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

When it tells you to click for more info, I get:

Error signature:
EventType : BEX P1 : svchost.exe P2 : 5.1.2600.2180 P3 : 41107ed6
P4 : netapi32.dll P5 : 5.1.2600.2180 P6 : 411096ac P7 : 0000a3c0
P8 : c0000409 P9 : 00000000

Anyone know owt about this and can help?

I've already tried every virus checker known to man, every registry cleaner, I've defragged my drives- basically, all the stuff you can do when you don't really know that much about PCs. So if someone could help it'd be very very much appreciated.

Your "problem" is netapi32.dll ... whether it is corrupted or not up to date, I do not know.

Do you have all the latest Windows Updates and latest the Drivers for your MB?

Which is why I'm glad I came here. I'm pretty sure everything's up to date, but I'll go away, have a look and see if that file is able to be repaired without serious PC nonsense. Thanks muckshifter.
