Frontpage 2003 Causes ODBC Error

C

Chris Freeman

Hello all,
I just upgraded to Frontpage 2003. I'm now getting an
error 1919: Error Configuring ODBC data source MS Access
ODBC Error 6 Component not found.

This error is created when installing. Installation stops
and says cannot find MS Access registry. Problem is, with
FP2002, I have no problem what so ever. The main problem
occurs when I try to open an Access database from the FP
Folder List window.

Any suugestions

Thanks in advance

It is not a good idea to open a Access database directly from within FP, as
this can cause the database to become corrupted. For the best results,
export the database to your desktop, make your change then re-import or
create ASP admin. page to access the database online.
