Access Error Message - Error 1919

I receive the following error message upon installation of
P.C. version Microsoft Office XP software:

"Access Error Message - Error 1919. Error configuring
ODBC data service. MS Access Database, ODBC error 6:
Component not found in the registry. Verify that the file
MS Access Database exists and that you can access it."

I've uninstalled and reinstalled the software and still
receive this message. I'm using Windows 2000 Professional
operating system. Any suggestions on how I can resolve
this issue?

Have you installed all Windows 2000 Server Packs?

Yes, I downloaded a Server Pack today, restarted the
computer, and I still receive the message. Access seems
to be working except a number of the icons are grayed out
as I work in the database.

I've had something similar with Outlook missing a file and
needed to have my hard drive reformatted because of a
possible virus. Could this be the problem?

NOTE: I noticed this e-mail is in FrontPage and should
be in the Access section, sorry.
