* Our goal is to make the The Freeware Logo a universally recognizable symbol for freeware programs and websites.
* Members of the alt.comp.freeware (a.c.f.) group chose this image as their favorite freeware symbol in December 2004

This project can now celebrate its first year :). But celebrate? Not
many sites and/or programs use the symbol...

So I repeat my summer challenge to the group: Check it out and if you
like it - use it! :)

There have been 3.800 unique visitors to the site. But perhaps more
people will notice it now, since it's the symbol used in all the a.c.f.
pages at pricelesswarehome.org. Good work, Susan.

The original creator, Ronald Sandee, have now made a lot of so-called
websafe colour images - whatever background & colour you use, you can't
say he doesn't provide you with a suitable image :)

Happy new year to all!

Happy new year to all!
Nice work so far Vegard, how about a Favicon for the site next? I know
I'd like to see one. Just a suggestion. Thanks for your work

Thanks. :) The image is linked to the logo page to make it easy for
people to get a copy for their own site.

Ronald has done a lot of work. Much appreciated work. . . :)

Nicolaas - you said: "To hell with the staid look - that logo needs to
leap out at you and say *OY!*" Hope you approve of the background color
I chose to accomplish that.
Happy new year to all!

Second that!

Indeed I do. <replaces eyeballs> Thank Grud you didn't choose light
magenta! :)) Now, where did I put those Polaroids?
