Since I don't post here daily, your point is moot. Go figure.Yet you do this pretty much on a daily basis, don't you? Go figure.

Spoken like a true clueless numbskull. Go figure.I did say "pretty much," in describing your negative one liners.
It's a very sad person, Mike, who lives for nothing more than to
spread a poor attitude into an alt newsgroup. Consider getting a
hobby or something?? There are more meaningful things out there,
for real.

What is this about?
Just trying to get the alt.comp.freeware (acf) group to agree on a
freeware symbol or logo. My intention was that it could be used on
freeware sites and in freeware programs. A "universally" recognizable
logo or symbol for freeware.
I think an ACF logo is a great idea.

I have a few qualms about the *wording* on the current front-runner:
Wings of Freeware. The image is copyrighted to R.Sandee. It seems to me
an ACF logo should be copyrighted to ACF.
I don't like "absolute free software". No spyware, no adware, no
shareware does NOT imply *FREEWARE* as ACF defines it. I think it would
be better to have a logo showing "Freeware" and "alt.comp.freeware"
ONLY. If the logo is used by other sites it should be linked to the ACF
Ware Glossary.
my 2 cents. . . Susan

let's discuss renaiming acf to acfvg - alt.comp.freeware.voting.group
#15 from the web page.
At the moment Ronald Sandee with his "Wings of freeware" seems to be
headed for a landslide victory (but people can vote for two more weeks).
I have been in contact with Ronald earlier and I'm sure we can work out
something all can agree upon (*if* he wins!).
