Found Hotfix for Wireless Problems - How do I download it?

You have to CALL Microsoft to get a hotfix.

Yes, I DID notice that, but I also noticed that if I have
an OEM XP license (which I do) that they won't offer any
free support, and I don't want to pay $35 for them to
give me a link, when I thought that someone might know
where to get it.

Contact Microsoft Product Support Services, as described in the
Knowledge Base article. Hotfixes are meant to solve specific problems
and don't go through the same testing procedures that regular Windows
code does. For that reason, they aren't available from any other
source, and Microsoft only gives them to people who have the specific
problem that the hotfix addresses.

When you contact Microsoft Product Support Services:

1. Tell them that you have the problem described in KB article 828940.
2. Request the hotfix.
3. Ask them to waive the charge for the support call, as described in
the article.
4. Don't ask for help with any other issue.

I have this same problem, but the help system won't let
me contact anyone because I have an OEM copy of windows.
How can I get the hotfix?

1. See the KB article at http://support.microsoft.com/?id=828940 .

2. Click the link in the "Resolution" section of the article.

3. Click the link "Phone Numbers, Support Options and Pricing" and
follow the prompts to get the phone number to call.
