finds other wireless networks

my vaio w/centrino keeps finding other networks (i live in a big
building) saying one or more wireless networks are available...kicking
me off my connection. it is seeing other networks .. and i have the
'automatically connect to non-preferred networks' unchecked. my
access point is a RG1000 by orrinco.. i have a specific network name
and is wep enabled.. GOING CRAZY!! thanks

Try disabling 802.1x authentication for this network. This seems to have worked for me.
