files and settings transfer wizard

my motherboard failed recently, instead of replacing it i
bought a new computer. i removed the hard drive from the
defunked computer and placed it in the new computer
(which is runnig windows xp home edition)as the secondary
hard drive.
i would like to transfer my files, such as settings for
outlook express, address book, favorites from internet
explorer. the problem i can not seem to overcome is the
files and settings transfer wizard will not allow me to
transfer internally. i can not make the old hard drive
(which has windows xp pro) the primary hard drive. how do
i transfer these files from the d-drive to the c-drive?

Set the computer as old computer, then transfer the data off the old hd
to a new folder that you create (desktop is good place),when the wizard
is thru, then send the folder to a cd.In new computer, extract folder for the
wizard or use browse to locate it.
