If you hadn't encrypted the data files (which could not have been
done with WinXP Home), you may be facing nothing more than a simple
permissions issue. Have you tried taking ownership of the old folders?

Then simply use Windows Explorer to click and drag any files you want
from one drive to the other.

Are you getting a message when you try?
Is it "Access Denied"?

You may need to 'take ownership' in order to get into the folders/files.

Read *carefully* - do not just skim the page and start following steps.
There is important information there dependent on the version of Windows XP
