File deletion

When I try to delete a folder or file from My Documents,
which has been downloaded from internet, the computer
freezes and will not let me deletre anything.

I can move file to Recycle Bin, but then recycle bin will
not empty.

Any ideas out there?

I'm having the exact same problem. When I bought my computer everything was working well. Now I can't delete any files using recycle bin or right clicking which both cause my system to freeze.
