External CD burner

I'm new to PC Banter but would appreciate some help. I recently
connected, via USB, an external CD burner. Seems to burn OK, but the
resulting CD cannot be recognized or read by any other drive, including
the new drive. It will read other CDs. Is there something I need to set,
reset or check?

Depending on which software you use, you need to "finalize" the CD creation
session. What software are you using?
