Error R6034

I've been trying to load "Call of Duty 2" on my Dell Dimension 8400 for the
past week or so. So far I haven't been successful. Lately, I've been seeing
Error R6034 soon after I start the installation process.... this thing is
driving NUTS!

Any Ideas?

I'm running XP Pro, ver 2002, service pack 3 on my machine which has a
Pentium(R) 4 CPU 3.2 GHz, 2.00 GB RAM and set up to run Windows with an
automatic update setting. I have a ATI Radeon X800 SE (128MB) card installed.
