Media Center 2005 problem

Turned on computer today and MC is missing most functions including live TV,
DVD, .. Only menu items are My Pictures , Settings, and More Programs. The
computer has been running fine for four years. The Settings menu does not
show/allow a TV setup. Two MC admin services are on automatic. I don't see
any new updates that might have caused the problem. System restore doesn't
want to restore; I'm not sure why. Roll-up 2 is installed. I can run the
Hauppauge WinTV tuner with the Hauppauge S/W and see all 99 channels.
Computer is:

Dell Dimension 9100, Pentium D 3 GHz CPU, 2 GB, Radeon X600 256MB card, XP
SP3.
