Error message

I get an error message when I try to open a picture attachment. the message
is : This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this
action. Create an association in the folder options control panel. I can get
to this folder options, but I don't know how to create an association for
this action. This picture is a JPEG file. Can any one tell me how to do this?

Using Windows' Folder Options, associate the .jpg file type with some
application that can process JPEG files.
