envelope symbol

envelope symbol sometimes has symbolin lower right corner of envelope that
looks like an " i " or a checkmark. What do they mean--something about
whether or not i responded or what?

The "i" means that there is message tracking information available for this
sent item. This means that you have sent the item with a tracking request
and you have received the receipt you requested. If there is no "i" visible
it means that you either have not received a receipt yet or simply haven't
requested a receipt.
