I am running IE 6.0 on Win 95. Why does my browser default
to "western european iso" for most pages? How can i
correct it. I have Encoding set to "auto-select".

Repair IE see if it helps.

Add/Remove Programs/MS/IE repair.


Read this article and make sure that you have all the .nsl files and that
your registry is correct.
