encoding tab under "view".when viewing different web pages
the browser will "switch" my laungage to Western Eurpoean
(ISO) from Western European(win).Western European (WIN)
works good but (ISO)does not display things properly. I do
have AUTO SELECT checked.How can I set Western European
(WIN)as my default without the web changing it back to
(ISO). No more valid choices under "MORE".

Start here and make sure that you have the necessary .nls files in your
computer and the the registry is correct.

Pictures Are Not Displayed on Web Sites in Internet Explorer
A Web page may display an image as a red X, or a placeholder may appear in
place of the image.
Covers also this problem: Web page that is encoded for the Western European
(ISO) code page might not display any images:
