Enable Messenger Service (net send)

All,

I'm trying to ENABLE (yes: switch it ON) the Messenger Service on WinXPe
SP2, but I get a "Error 126: The specified module could not be found"
message when trying to start the service.
(std HP image for TC 5700 series, with hotfixes installed)

Anyone able to give me a tip on this?

Has anybody the service running on WinXPe SP2?

Wieger,

Obviously, do you know if the "Messenger Service (Net Send)" component has been included in the image on your image?

Check if you have got msgsvc.dll library under \Windows\system32 folder.

Indeed, that's it.
I've added msgsvc.dll to c:\windows\system32, and the service runs fine now.
