With SP2 the RasAuto service will not start.

I'm trying to move to XPe SP2. For some reason, the RasAuto service will
not start. It says, "Error 126: The specified module could not be found."

The service is hosted by svchost.exe -k netsvcs". Is it the netsvcs dll (or
whatever) that is missing? Or svchost.exe? Well, scvhost.exe is there, but
what is it looking for?

Mark,

Is the "Routing and Remote Access" service started on your runtime? (I recall it is disabled by default on XP SP2)
Check if you have got %SystemRoot%\System32\rasauto.dll in your image. (I'd be supprised if not)

And you, of course, have FileMon. When you see an error like "specified module could not be found", FileMon may be the easiest and
fastest way to find out the missing piece.

"netsvcs" is a group of system services hosted by svchost.exe". (just a symbolic name, not a dll name).
Look under [HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\SvcHost],"netsvcs" - multi string value - to see all the services from
the group.
