Hi Mike,
(To perform and inplace upgrade)
This will necessitate reloading your present "Service Pack and Security Patches"
And you can load I.E.6 over the top for good measure.
(Be sure to restart after each)
Enter the BIOS and set the first boot order to CD-ROM.
Put the Installation CD in the tray, and restart
All files that make up the boot floppy will be written to HDD, and then
Choose "Set up Windows 2000 now"
Press "Enter"
Press "F8" to agree with the EULA
Press "R" for Repair
Press Enter @ the prompt
takes a few minutes
Prompt for the language (press Enter)
Enter CD Key Number
setup installs components(takes several minutes)
Press Enter @ Finish Prompt to Reboot.
Note: Some CD-ROMs are not bootable. In this case you use the 4 boot diskettes
If you don't have a set, format 4 floppies with an NT box checking to make sure they have
zero bad sectors.
The setup is almost the same as from CD-ROM, but don't choose "repair" the first time it
comes up, it will come up again.
Oh, something goes wrong, you get a Racers guaranty (30 runnings or 30 seconds, whichever
comes first)

Hi All,
Every time I shut down or reboot my Win2K Pro workstation
(SP3 5.00.2195), I receive the following popup:
drwtsn32.exe - DLL Initialization Failed :
The application failed to initialize because the window
station is shutting down.
Again, any help as to how I can resolve this is
appreciated.
Thanks.
Mike
