Errors when shutting down

Mervin Williams

I receive the following errors when shutting down my Windows XP SP2 laptop:

1. "dwwin.exe - DLL Initialization Failed - The application failed to
initialize because the window station is shutting down."
2. "End Program - sw - The system cannot end this program because it's
waiting for a response from you."
3. "sw:AcroRd32.exe - Application Error - the instruction at... The memory
could not be read."

Any assistance in helping me to resolve this problem would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mervin Williams

For DWWIN.EXE error (this seems an doctor watson error)

click on START/ RUN then type MSCONFIG, then OK
in the next windows you should click on SERVICES then disable services of
error report, then restart your PC.

The next two questions sound like acrobat reader error, try to run regclean
from microsoft or try with Windows onecare`s online scan to check for any
registry problems.
