Driver Error

my computer keeps shutting down and restarting and i get
the following error messages

C:\\WINDOWS\Minidump\Mini101603-02.dmp
C:\DOCUME~1\OWNER\LOCALS~1\Temp\WER1.tmp.dir00\sysdata.xml

can anyone help?

it says its something to do with the condition of
Microsoft Windows????

You can go to,1).event viewer in ADM. for alot of info.
2).search at TechNet/microsoft.com,type:Minidump
3).search at microsoft,type:315271

Hey Graeme,

I'm afraid, we need the bugcheck codes.

Go into the system event log

start/run
eventvwr.msc

click system in the left hand pane

Look down the list of events until you see one labelled "System Error" or
"Save Dump"

Double click it and use the copy button by the big up and down arrow to copy
the codes to the clipboard and paste into a reply.

You should also disable autorestart after system crash

control panel/system/advanced/startup and recovery settings

Untick the Autorestart option

If it happens again you'll get a blue screen, note the details including the
name of a driver causing the problem if there is one, a filename ending in
..sys near the end of the text.
Post that and the name of the bug check and the numbers starting 0x.........
