Does ICS host computer keep the downloaded files?

I have ICS setup at home. I would like to know if there is a way in which i
can make my host ICS computer cache the files downloaded by the client
computers from internet.

My main concern is while downloading updates. Since one computer has already
downloaded cant the same files be used for other computers? Like how it works
in office network?

You can't cache the updates like you are thinking, but you can download
the installation files and then redistribute them to the other
computers.
