Document failed to print error message

Kim

My husband installed more memory in the comp and ever
since, we get the 'document failed to print' error
message when printing pics or from Word. I've tried
uninstalling and reinstalling the printer driver, as well
as whatever microsoft recommended in its FAQ but I still
can't print. Used to print partially at least but now
doesn't even start.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Make sure that the pagefile is appropriately sized for the new memory
installed. The rendering engine (GDI) writes temp data to the pagefile,
when it is maxed out, docs will just fail
My Computer Properties Advanced / Performance / Setting / Advanced / Virtual
Memory

Click the change button and make sure the pagefile has room to grow. If it
looks good don't change it.

here's a KB on this that's a hoot. It was written for NT 3.1. Principles
are the same, but memory has really changed.
